Scott D. Storm
Scott D. Storm became a partner of Mura & Storm in January 2001. Mr. Storm has experience with a vast array of property-casualty insurance coverage and defense related matters. His principal areas of practice include, but are not limited to, resolving coverage issues related to property/casualty claims, investigating and defending insurers against fraudulent claims, and analyzing coverage and liability issues pertaining to claims involving non-owned autos and temporary substitute vehicles. He has extensive experience in conducting examinations under oath of insureds and claimants. Mr. Storm was previously employed as a claims supervisor with General Accident Insurance Company and as a claims representative with Travelers Property Casualty. He has attained the professional designation of Senior Claims Law Associate.
Mr. Storm is admitted to the practice of law in New York State and its four federal districts, as well as the State of Pennsylvania. He received his B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He is a member of the Buffalo Claims Association, the Erie County Bar Association and is a Supporting Partner of the New York State Chapter of Special Investigation Units, Inc. Mr. Storm was selected for inclusion in the 2014 New York Super Lawyers – Upstate Edition.
